Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols both inside and outside the facility to uphold security standards.
  • Present a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
  • Monitor surveillance systems to detect unauthorized activities.
  • Manage access control for employees and guests effectively.
  • Respond promptly to incidents related to intrusion, fire, and health/safety concerns.
  • Maintain accurate duty logs and visitor records.
  • Welcome visitors with a courteous and professional attitude.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as required by operational needs.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in security is preferred; military background is highly regarded.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • Ability to familiarize oneself with the facility layout and surrounding areas.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean record is necessary.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, and perform essential job functions throughout the shift.
  • Ability to engage in tasks that require bending, stooping, and walking considerable distances.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
