Job Summary:

The AP/AR Clerk will play a crucial role in both the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable using accounting software and other programs.
  • Handle AP and AR for various entities and vendors, establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors.
  • Ensure vendor invoices are entered promptly and accurately, processing transactions and performing other necessary accounting tasks.
  • Generate and send out invoices, follow up on, collect, and allocate payments, carrying out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable transactions, monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.

Requirements:

  • Preferred AP and AR experience, with an educational background in Accounting or a similar field.
  • Basic understanding of Accounting principles and basic computer skills/data entry skills.
  • Good job stability and high attention to detail.
