UMX is seeking a skilled Civil and Marine Construction Excavator Operator to join our team. This role involves operating heavy equipment in various locations throughout the Northeast Florida region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate excavators and backhoes safely and efficiently.
  • Excavate ponds, ditches, and trenches.
  • Load trucks with fill dirt.
  • Backfill and maintain daily logs of equipment usage and maintenance.
  • Rig, lift, swing, and set precast structures and pipe materials.
  • Safely move equipment around the job site.
Requirements:
  • Three years of experience operating heavy civil construction equipment.
  • Competent Person certification.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and locations.
