Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough testing, assessment, and installation of cathodic protection systems to mitigate corrosion on various structures.
  • Collaborate with senior personnel to interpret customer specifications and drawings effectively.
  • Execute specific testing protocols to collect data for comprehensive evaluations.
  • Gather essential structure-to-soil potential data, soil measurements, and rectifier information.
  • Create detailed sketches of rectifiers, anodes, test stations, and other design elements on prepared diagrams.
  • Assist in compiling survey reports and final job documentation under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Document physical characteristics of installation sites for detailed analysis.
  • Organize and analyze collected data, preparing informative charts and tables.
  • Compile data for the final client report, including service recommendations.
  • Maintain field testing equipment, ensuring optimal operating conditions and performing minor repairs as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience or education in cathodic protection surveys (1+ year).
  • AMPP/NACE CP Level 1 certification is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork, internal customer service, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations regularly, including overnight trips during the week as needed.

Compensation and Benefits: The position offers a starting wage of $27/hr. We provide a competitive salary, opportunities for career advancement, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid overtime, per diem, matching 401k, tuition assistance, 14 days of paid time off, and 10 paid holidays each year.
