Business Information Consultant Senior

This is a senior-level position that requires a hybrid work model, with a balance of remote and in-office work. The ideal candidate will be located within a reasonable commuting distance to one of Elevance Health's major operational hubs.

Job Summary:

The Business Information Consultant Senior is responsible for coordinating and consolidating various impact analyses for executive-level decision-making. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and optimize consolidating processes for financial forecasting and month-end results.
  • Consolidate and prepare executive summary reports for various business segments in the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) for top management decision-making.
  • Analyze and design solutions to address complex business needs, leveraging expertise in data analysis and business acumen.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new or enhanced business solutions.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of business operations, products, and internal data systems.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.
  • Act as the central point of contact with internal departments and external stakeholders.
Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Statistics, Economics, or Business Administration, and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Leadership experience in evaluating financial performance of complex organizations.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, organizational, planning, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and develop plans to address issues and concerns.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis, financial modeling, and data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Business Objects.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on value-based programs and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manipulate large datasets and identify key insights.
