Role Overview:

The Revenue Accountant position is integral to our finance and accounting team, focusing on various financial activities associated with revenue management. Responsibilities include accurately recording financial transactions, auditing for precision, and liaising with different departments to address any discrepancies. This role also involves managing billing and collections for wholesale travel agents while coordinating with internal teams to track and resolve payment issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cash transactions and conduct audits
  • Record all financial payments in the company systems
  • Reconcile hotel revenue on a daily basis
  • Document transactions accurately for annual audits and investigate any discrepancies
  • Communicate effectively regarding revenue transactions with both internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable or related accounting roles - preferred
  • Experience in hotel accounting for at least 1 year - preferred
  • Cash handling experience for a minimum of 1 year - preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel - preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent - required
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken - required
