Environmental Services Technician

As an Environmental Services Technician with the Good Samaritan Society, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. This is a full-time position that requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities- Ensure that facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner in accordance with current Federal, State, local, and facility standards.
- Respond to service requests and assist with training, minor equipment maintenance, and quality assurance inspections.
- Help cover sick calls and assist with project work as needed.
- May have access to areas where medications are stored in order to perform job-related functions.
- Attend all required trainings and those designated by the department to stay up-to-date on new developments in the field.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to use computer and prior cleaning experience is helpful.
- Knowledge of materials, equipment, cleaning methods, and cleaning chemicals is helpful.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Previous custodial experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
