We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, while providing exceptional customer service to our residents and staff.
Responsibilities- Work closely with the environmental services leadership team to support the day-to-day operation of the department.
- Ensure staff have the equipment and supplies needed for their daily assignments.
- Respond to service requests and assist with training, minor equipment maintenance, and quality assurance inspections.
- Help cover sick calls and assist with project work as needed.
- Maintain facilities in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to use computer and prior cleaning experience is helpful.
- Knowledge of materials, equipment, cleaning methods, and cleaning chemicals is helpful.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Previous custodial experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
