In this role, you will collaborate closely with the environmental services leadership team to facilitate the daily operations of the department. Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring staff have the necessary equipment and supplies for their daily tasks.
- Responding to service requests efficiently.
- Assisting with training and minor equipment maintenance.
- Providing coverage for sick calls.
- Supporting quality assurance inspections and project work.
Your daily activities will ensure that facilities are kept in a clean, safe, and comfortable condition, adhering to current Federal, State, local, and facility standards.
Depending on location and program availability, you may have access to additional internal software applications.
Attendance at all required training sessions for the position, as well as those designated by the department, is essential to stay updated on new developments in the field and to maintain existing knowledge.
Proficiency in computer usage and prior cleaning experience are advantageous. Familiarity with materials, equipment, cleaning methods, and cleaning chemicals is beneficial. Previous custodial experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
