Job Summary:
Collaborate closely with the environmental services leadership team to facilitate the daily operations of the department. Responsibilities encompass ensuring staff are equipped with necessary tools and supplies, addressing service requests, aiding in training, performing minor equipment maintenance, covering for absent staff, and assisting with quality assurance inspections and project tasks. Daily activities must ensure that facilities are kept clean, safe, and comfortable, adhering to all relevant Federal, State, local, and facility standards. The above responsibilities outline the primary functions of the role and are not exhaustive of all potential job requirements.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Proficiency in computer use and prior cleaning experience are advantageous. Familiarity with cleaning materials, equipment, methods, and chemicals is beneficial. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Previous custodial experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Specific yearly certifications may be required for certain assignments.
