Job Title: Receptionist

The Receptionist plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical team at Advocare. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for greeting patients, managing phone calls, and performing various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Phone Management: Answer incoming calls in a professional manner, transfer calls to the appropriate person, and write messages according to approved procedures.
  • Scheduling: Schedule patient appointments and confirm them with patients.
  • Patient Communication: Greet patients and visitors, collect co-pays, and remind patients of past due balances.
  • Administrative Support: Type correspondence, prepare patient files, and perform other administrative tasks as directed.
Requirements:
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Professionalism and Confidentiality: Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and diplomacy in all interactions.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and ability to learn new software.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Medical Experience: One year of experience in a medical setting preferred.
