Job Title: Staff Nurse, Interventional Pulmonary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Interventional Pulmonary team. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality services in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide competent, compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing interventional pulmonary procedures, including flexible bronchoscopy, bronchothermoplasty, and rigid bronchoscopy.
  • Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, taking into account individual patient needs and preferences.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring proper equipment function.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing clear and concise information and addressing concerns in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Current Massachusetts licensure as a registered nurse.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU, critical care, ED, or procedural experience.
  • Strong clinical background in pulmonology, with knowledge of interventional pulmonary procedures and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
