About the RoleThis exciting opportunity allows you to work in multiple hospitals, providing flexibility and variety to your work schedule. As an Enterprise RN Staffing Resource professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry setting. Your expertise and experience will be valued and utilized to support the needs of our patients and teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care through the application of sound procedures and practices.
- Perform accurate and complete admission assessments within defined time frames.
- Assess and document patient's pain levels utilizing appropriate protocols.
- Prioritize and document patient problems based on assessed needs/problems in collaboration with the patient, family, and health care team.
- Monitor and document patient's condition and effectiveness and timeliness of care and/or interventions.
- Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
- Delegate appropriate components of the nursing care plan to other members of the nursing team.
- Plan delivery of patient care in collaboration with other disciplines that promotes wellness and facilitates the discharge process.
- Completion of a recognized course of study from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) certification required.
- Minimum four years recent acute care experience in areas utilizing telemetry monitoring such as cardiac, step-down, medical/surgical telemetry units, concentrated care units.
