About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients and colleagues. As a Float Pool Nurse, you will have the flexibility to work in different areas of the hospital, including Medical/Oncology, Surgical/Orthopedic, Telemetry, and Inpatient Rehabilitation. You will be responsible for providing patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, and the generic and unit structure standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
- Float to various units within the hospital, including Medical/Oncology, Surgical/Orthopedic, Telemetry, and Inpatient Rehabilitation.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Graduation from a school of nursing required.
- Current Missouri RN license required.
- At least 2 years of current RN hospital Medical/Surgical experience or Medical/Telemetry experience is required for the Float Pool.
