Ground Crew Laborer Job Description

SELECTEMP Employment Services is seeking a skilled Ground Crew Laborer to join our team. As a Ground Crew Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the installation and maintenance of fiber internet infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Excavation and digging of trenches for fiber optic cables
  • Pulling and laying fiber optic cables
  • Shoveling and handling gravel and other materials
  • Assisting with the installation and maintenance of fiber optic equipment
  • Operating company vehicles to transport personnel and equipment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding environments
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Work Environment:

As a Ground Crew Laborer, you will be working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols.

This is a temporary-hire position with a competitive hourly rate of $21-$22. Pay increases are available at the time of hire.
