Job Summary

Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Technician to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists with treatment procedures, including patient mobility, exercise programs, and equipment maintenance.
  • Transport patients to and from treatment areas, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Perform delegated activities, such as cleaning and disinfecting equipment, and restocking supplies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
