Your Responsibilities:

As a Senior Systems Security Engineer, you will:

  • Act as a security engineering representative on design and development teams for the creation, implementation, and integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, implement, and integrate Information Assurance (IA) architectures, systems, or components.
  • Serve as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
  • Utilize knowledge of IA policies and procedures to design, develop, and implement secure networking and computing environments.
  • Engage with clients and other project team members.
  • Support the Government in establishing trusted relationships among external systems and architectures.
  • Assist in security planning, assessments, risk analysis, and risk management.
  • Identify overall security requirements for the appropriate handling of sensitive data.
  • Conduct system or network designs that encompass multiple enclaves with varying data protection and classification needs.
  • Recommend system-level solutions to address security requirements.
  • This position will involve conducting site measurements, inspections, and surveys at designated field sites.
  • The focus will be on 5G technology during the survey, with an expectation of temporary duty for approximately 90 days during this period.

Basic Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or GED with twelve (12) years of general systems engineering experience

OR

  • A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field with six (6) years of systems engineering experience.
OR

  • A Master's or PhD degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline with six (6) years of systems engineering experience.
Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly SP

Remote Work Capability: This position requires onsite work at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin offers various alternate work schedules to provide flexibility to our employees. Schedules may include standard 40-hour weeks or condensed options that allow for additional time away from the office, alongside our Paid Time Off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 with every other Friday off.
