Job Overview

Position: Housekeeping Attendant

We are looking for dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Attendants to enhance our team at Proper Hospitality Solutions LLC. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all public areas within the hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily cleaning checklists as per hotel standards and communicate any unfinished tasks to your supervisor before the end of your shift.
  • Engage in the thorough cleaning of guest rooms as directed by management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization on assigned floors, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies for Room Attendants.
  • Handle the removal of soiled linens, towels, and trash from service areas, transporting them to designated locations.
  • Sort and organize soiled linens in the appropriate laundry bins for cleaning.
  • Assist housekeeping staff with moving heavy items such as beds and furniture as needed.
  • Perform vacuuming and cleaning of hallways, including exit lights, doors, baseboards, and carpets as required.
  • Complete any special projects assigned by the manager on duty.
  • Report guest requests, complaints, and inquiries to management to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues that require attention.
  • Deliver guest requests promptly and greet guests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Manage the supply rooms and closets, reporting any items that need replenishing to your supervisor.
  • Utilize high-powered cleaning equipment for tasks such as polishing, vacuuming, and mopping.
  • Participate in general cleaning of guest rooms and public areas as needed.
  • Be knowledgeable about and actively practice the hotel's emergency procedures and lost and found policies.
  • Perform any additional tasks or projects assigned by management.
  • Use cleaning supplies and equipment in accordance with safety standards.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is in good working order and report any issues.
  • Assist guests with any cleaning-related concerns or requests for additional supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Local candidates preferred.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Work Authorization is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in luxury hospitality is preferred.
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds without restrictions.
  • Proficiency in the primary language of the workplace is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills are necessary.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • OSHA certification is a plus.

Salary: $20.00 per hour
