Position Overview

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (occasional weekends/holidays required)

The Senior Facilities Operations Manager oversees a high-volume facility, responsible for the comprehensive management of the Maintenance Department. This role entails ensuring that all assets, including production machinery, support systems, and facility grounds, are maintained to the highest standards. The Senior Facilities Operations Manager will cultivate and lead a team dedicated to exceptional service through collaborative efforts; develop and manage an annual budget that adapts to production demands, and partner with plant leadership to uphold established performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a team to achieve results by communicating organizational objectives, safety protocols, and deadlines; fostering teammate engagement through effective performance management, coaching, and training.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies while maintaining a customer-centric approach, embodying the company’s values to promote servant leadership.
  • Develop and enhance a detailed business plan specific to the department, ensuring all facility assets are effectively maintained through strategic scheduling of corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to ensure that Annual Business Plan objectives and KPIs are met, creating and executing action plans to address any performance shortfalls.
  • Assess the financial requirements of facility assets and manage the departmental budget to align expenditures with production needs.
  • Oversee monthly training requirements for employees to ensure timely completion of all necessary training elements.
  • Plan and execute Capital Expenditure Projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and that all projects are finalized through the Engineering and Accounting Departments.
  • Support and engage in best practices through Management System initiatives, including ISO and KORE Standards.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers, PLC Networking, Hydraulics, Electrical Systems, and Beverage Equipment Operations and repair.
  • Ability to manage both in-house and capital projects, from scheduling to assessing financial impacts on various cost centers.
  • Work environment includes 25% office and 75% industrial settings; weekend work may be necessary to meet customer demands.
  • Exposure to elevated noise levels requiring hearing protection; some outdoor work may be necessary for facility maintenance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager in a similar industry.
  • Experience in a Proactive Maintenance system environment preferred, including familiarity with ISO Standards.
  • Proficient in SAP Maintenance; PLC knowledge is advantageous.
  • Exhibit a high degree of professionalism and advanced project management skills.
  • Ability to influence peer decision-making and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
  • Advanced PC skills.
  • Foster positive working relationships with supervisors, colleagues, and staff.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or up to 3 years of college or technical training.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7 or more years of relevant work experience.
  • A four-year degree in Engineering, Business, or a technical field is preferred but can be compensated with experience.
