About the Role:

This part-time Pharmacy Technician position is available at Methodist Hospital, working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The successful candidate will assist in various inpatient pharmacy activities, including interpreting, entering, preparing, dispensing, and distributing medications.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Interpret and enter medication orders into the system
  • Restock pharmacy shelves and assist with purchasing medications
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients at the counter and via telephone

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
  • IN Licensure/Registration/Certification requirements
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
