Pediatrician - CNPA Foggy Bottom/Capital Hill (Part-time)

We are seeking a part-time board certified/board eligible general pediatrician to join our team at CNPA Foggy Bottom/Capital Hill. As a pediatrician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients from birth to 21 years old, including examinations, tests, reports, and procedures consistent with accepted standards of care.
Responsibilities:- Perform patient care, including examinations, tests, reports, and procedures consistent with accepted standards of care.
- Perform complete physical examinations of each patient.
- Analyze reports and findings to assess the medical condition of the patient.
- Prescribe medication and treatment, recommending appropriate physical and dietary routines.
- Provide 24/7 coverage of patient care needs.
- Actively participate in family-centered care and communicate professionally.
- Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) (Required)
- Knowledge of current principles, methods, and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment in pediatrics.
- Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care.
- Ability to function independently in evaluating patient problems and developing a patient care plan.
- Ability to incorporate ethical concepts into patient care and discuss these with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
- Ability to supervise, advise, and train clinical professionals and/or students in pediatrics.
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
- Commitment to Continuing Professional Development and ability to remain current on developments in primary care pediatrics.
