Position Overview

The Senior Video Production Specialist within the IGT marketing team is a dynamic expert in video production and motion graphics. This role combines a diverse skill set that includes storyboarding, editing, writing, and producing to fulfill a wide array of video content requests across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills to lead a team of content creators while also being capable of working independently to meet project deadlines.

The Senior Video Production Specialist will oversee all aspects of video production, motion graphics, and animated content creation. This position requires a passion for storytelling and the ability to craft compelling video series for IGT across various platforms. The candidate should possess excellent writing, editing, and producing skills, along with a thorough understanding of best practices in both long and short-form video and motion graphic content. Proficiency in pre- and post-production processes is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the creation of video content, motion graphics, and production efforts to promote IGT and its gaming products across all media platforms.
  • Develop and write scripts for original and branded content, ranging from short to long-form.
  • Oversee projects from inception to completion, including conceptualization, writing, and managing editorial, graphics production, music composition, and sound design.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with external partners.
  • Work closely with the Creative Services Lead to uphold the standards of the IGT master brand and its sub-brands.
  • Ensure timely project completion within budget constraints.
  • Produce, shoot, and edit both short and long-form video content.
  • Strategize and manage original video content designed for social media and online audiences.
  • Film videos in various settings, including studio, on-set, or on location.
  • Direct and shape editorial pitches into video concepts while coordinating logistics for on-location shoots.
  • Operate cameras, lighting, and grip equipment efficiently.
  • Provide troubleshooting for video and lighting equipment and perform routine maintenance.
  • Transport and set up necessary equipment as required.
  • Make recommendations for video equipment purchases based on needs.
  • Creatively produce video content following provided outlines, shot lists, or briefs, and edit raw footage to create polished final products.
  • Perform pre- and post-production tasks, including media backup, footage review, and final editing using industry-standard software.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and state laws during all shoots.
  • Maintain clear and organized file management practices for all digital assets.
  • Assist in managing multiple projects at various stages of development.
  • Review videos for quality assurance and accuracy.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in digital media production.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma required; a college degree in Media/Video Production is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in digital video production, with a focus on editing and audio material.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator); experience with 3D modeling/animation is a plus.
  • Commitment to ongoing education to stay current with industry-standard software and techniques.
  • Strong PC skills, including proficiency in MS Office and general internet use.
  • Experience preparing content for multimedia distribution.
  • In-depth knowledge of contemporary shooting styles, techniques, and equipment.
  • A creative mindset with a passion for cinematography and video editing.
  • Advanced understanding of professional production procedures and terminology.
  • Ability to lead shoots and collaborate effectively with production teams.
  • Demonstrated versatility in shooting and editing across various production levels.
  • Strong storytelling abilities and effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of sound recording, lighting, and color grading techniques.
