Position OverviewThe Video Production Manager role within the IGT marketing division is designed for a multifaceted video production and motion graphics expert. This position combines a diverse set of creative skills, including storyboarding, editing, writing, and producing, to fulfill a wide array of video content requests across all platforms. The Video Production Manager will lead a team of content creators within the Marketing department while also demonstrating the ability to work independently to meet project deadlines.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for storytelling and a knack for producing compelling video series. They should be adept at creating content for IGT across multiple platforms and have a strong foundation in writing, editing, and producing, along with a thorough understanding of best practices in both long and short-form video and motion graphic content. Familiarity with all phases of pre- and post-production is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of video creation, motion graphics, and production for rich media to promote IGT and its gaming products across various media platforms.
- Develop and write scripts and copy for both original and branded content, ranging from short to long-form.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, including conceptualization, writing, and overseeing editorial, graphics production, music composition, and sound design.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Services Lead to uphold the standards of the IGT master brand and its sub-brands.
- Ensure timely project completion within budget constraints.
- Produce, shoot, and edit both short and long-form video content.
- Strategize and manage original video content tailored for social and online audiences.
- Film videos in various settings, including studio, on set, or on location.
- Direct and shape editorial pitches into video concepts and coordinate logistics for on-location shoots.
- Operate cameras, lighting, and grip equipment efficiently.
- Provide troubleshooting for video and lighting equipment and perform routine maintenance.
- Transport and set up necessary equipment as required.
- Make recommendations for video equipment acquisitions.
- Creatively produce video content based on outlines, shot lists, or briefs, including audio and video recording, editing raw footage, designing digital effects, and creating graphics as needed.
- Conduct pre- and post-production tasks, including media backup, footage review, editorial decisions, rough cuts, audio adjustments, color correction, and final editing using industry-standard software.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and state laws during shoots, including obtaining necessary consents.
- Maintain cleanliness and security of IGT equipment, both on and off-site.
- Adhere to digital naming conventions, file management, metadata, and quality control standards.
- Assist in managing multiple projects at various stages of development.
- Proof all video content for accuracy and quality.
- Stay informed on the latest trends in digital media.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- High School diploma required; a college degree in Media/Video Production is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in digital video production, including editing and audio material, with a focus on short-form content.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator); knowledge of 3D modeling/animation is a plus.
- Commitment to ongoing education to stay current with industry-standard software and techniques.
- Strong PC skills, including proficiency in MS Office and web-based software.
- Experience preparing content for multimedia distribution.
- In-depth knowledge of contemporary shooting styles, techniques, and equipment.
- A creative mindset with a passion for cinematography and video editing.
- Advanced understanding of professional production procedures and terminology.
- Familiarity with professional video production equipment and techniques.
- Ability to lead a production team and collaborate effectively.
- Demonstrated versatility in shooting and editing across various production levels.
