Job Title: EHS Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented EHS Specialist to join our team at Precision Castparts Corp. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) program initiatives and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support management in ensuring compliance with EHS regulations and programs
  • Facilitate EHS programs and document compliance activities
  • Act as the main point of contact for local audits and ensure compliance with EHS regulations
  • Conduct standard and routine compliance inspections
  • Prepare EHS reports and ensure permit conditions are followed
  • Maintain records and ensure compliance with EHS-related record-retention requirements
  • Respond to and conduct incident investigations
  • Conduct risk assessments and mitigations processes
  • Collaborate with the onsite ergonomist to promote ergonomics
  • Provide accurate metrics and present EHS data to employees
  • Train and assist others in completing safety and compliance responsibilities
  • Support the facility with 6S initiatives
  • Lead the Safety Committee and manage Workers' Compensation cases
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations
  • Ability to work independently and in a group environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with others and manage projects
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Familiarity with office equipment and software
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
