About the Role

Newport Healthcare is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
  • Assist with setup and movement of equipment and furniture as needed.
  • Ensure all work is completed to Newport Healthcare standards and in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two plus years of experience in facilities maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
