Job Summary

Epic Asset Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our apartment buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs, and office spaces.
  • Empty garbage containers and maintain building facilities.
  • Perform minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
  • Complete resident work orders and replace air conditioner filters.
  • Cautions tenants regarding complaints about excessive noise, disorderly conduct, or misuse of property.
  • Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
  • Cleans debris from sidewalks and maintains building grounds.
  • Posts signs to advertise vacancies and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
