Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage cash flow related issues, ensuring timely preparation of monthly financial statements, including cash flow statements, management of receivables, payables, cash balances, and control mechanisms.
  • Monitor hotel revenues and expenses, accurately recording them in accordance with established guidelines. Control Hotel's cash flow and operating forecast, while creating annual budgets and monthly variance analysis.
  • Investigate and critique variances to budget or prior year, offering practical improvement methodologies to management.
  • Evaluate hotels' compliance on all regulatory licenses and permits, leases, contracts, legal agreements, and operational taxes. Provide assistance to management in enforcing compliance on these items.
  • Analyze financial data and operations to assist management in maintaining the hotels' financial objectives.
  • Maintain compliance with Standard Accounting policies and procedures, internal controls for finance and accounting operations, and review and approval of balance sheet accounts.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of Hospitality Finance/Accounting experience.
  • Prior Controller or Director of Finance experience, preferably at a premium-branded Hotel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
  • Must supervise 2 or more employees.
  • Must be proficient in Windows, Company approved spreadsheets, and word processing, as well as hotel-specific systems.
Compensation

$130K - $145K salary range, commensurate with experience.
