Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Interim Healthcare of Delaware. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes. This is a per diem opportunity that offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to build a schedule that suits your needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide routine nursing care visits to patients in their homes, following specific physician orders.
- Counsel and educate patients and their families on meeting their healthcare needs.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Delaware.
- At least six (6) months of experience within the last five (5) years working in a hospital, home care, or nursing home setting within the United States.
- CPR certification and a negative TB test result.
- Ability to pass a background check and provide professional references.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
