About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented Talent Management Specialist to join our People & Culture team at Brooklyn Bridge Park Corporation. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of People and Culture policies and procedures that drive business results and support the achievement of our mission and vision.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, with experience working with a Professional Employer Organization (PEO). You will be responsible for developing and implementing clear and fair company policies, overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, managing systems and databases, and conducting regular audits of department activities to ensure compliance and identify areas for enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of People and Culture policies and procedures that comply with legal standards and align with the BBP's mission, vision, and values
  • Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to seamless onboarding for new employees
  • Serve as liaison and main point of contact with BBP's PEO regarding leaves, timecard issues, accruals, and other employee needs
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits, relevant payroll changes, and leave management
  • Manage systems and databases, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years of HR experience with a strong focus on operations management, including a minimum of 1 year working with a PEO. Experience with ADP is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of HRIS, payroll systems, and benefits administration
  • Solid understanding of federal, state, and local labor laws and compliance regulations

Benefits:
  • $75,000 - $90,000 salary range
