Our school was opened in 2010 and serves over 670 scholars in Kindergarten – Eighth Grade.

Job Description
As a Middle School English Teacher Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our scholars. You will be responsible for collaborating with fellow teachers to ensure our curriculum meets and exceeds common core standards of learning. You will also partner with your co-teacher to create and implement creative subject-specific unit and lesson plans based on the needs of your scholars and the school's mission.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop and implement engaging lesson plans
• Partner with co-teacher to create project-based and inquiry-based learning experiences
• Assist with preparing students for New York State exams
• Collaborate with other teachers to share best practices and grow professionally
• Regularly report student progress and maintain accurate records
• Participate in community outreach and contribute to a vibrant learning environment

Requirements
• Valid and current New York State Teacher Certification
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field
• 2+ years of classroom teaching experience, preferably in an urban school
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing circumstances

Salary Range
$60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
