Position Overview:

The Retail Operations Leader is accountable for overseeing all facets of store operations. This role involves leading the store to consistently meet company standards and best practices. Responsibilities include staffing, training, and developing the leadership team to achieve desired sales and profitability while ensuring a welcoming shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Implement company best practices to maximize productivity and minimize operational steps.
  • Performance Analysis: Review store reports to assess controllable expenses and overall performance, addressing any discrepancies with actionable plans.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor Assistant Managers and Associates, focusing on retention and compliance with training requirements.
  • Expense Management: Ensure all expenditures remain within budget and manage payroll hours effectively.
  • Customer Engagement: Foster a culture of respect and professionalism, ensuring all team members provide excellent customer service.
  • Merchandising Standards: Ensure merchandise is processed and presented according to company guidelines, maintaining a well-organized sales floor.
  • Loss Prevention: Train Associates on loss prevention strategies to achieve store goals while safeguarding company assets.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of management experience in a retail setting.
  • Strong customer service orientation and leadership skills.
  • Ability to train and develop team members effectively.
  • Proficient in organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet objectives.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform various physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting as needed in a retail environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Direct supervision of Assistant Store Managers and all retail associates.
