- Engages with vendors and team members to promote and clarify benefits offerings.
- Independently resolves issues related to health and welfare plans, eligibility, and enrollment.
- Acts as a subject matter expert on benefits-related inquiries.
Excellence: Commit to continuous improvement and uphold high standards.
- Manages the Leave of Absence and ADA processes, ensuring effective communication with team members and leadership.
- Oversees accurate and timely benefit billing processes.
- Administers the 401(k) and Non-Qualified Retirement Plans, serving as the primary contact for audits and compliance.
- Implements and manages the time off program, ensuring adherence to state and local regulations.
Passion: Approach tasks with enthusiasm and meticulous attention to detail.
- Addresses escalated benefits issues promptly to ensure resolutions.
- Contributes significantly to the annual Open Enrollment process, including planning and communication strategies.
- Serves as the expert for the HCM system related to benefits and leave management.

- Leads projects for new benefits implementations.
- Promotes voluntary benefits programs, enhancing awareness and participation.
- Ensures compliance with established policies while managing sensitive employee information.
Organizational Relationships
This role reports directly to the Benefits Manager and collaborates with team members, management, and various departments.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in benefits administration.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational and decision-making skills, particularly in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to think strategically and execute plans effectively.
- Strong initiative and ability to meet challenges head-on.
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Understanding of HIPAA, ERISA, Section 125, and COBRA regulations.
- Capacity to adapt to changing priorities.
