- Reservation Management: Make boarding reservations, book grooming, training, and temperament test appointments, and schedule daycare reservations.
- Financial Management: Manage cash, check, and credit card transactions, and reconcile reports.
- Pet Care: Get to know clients and their pet's names, obtain all necessary information for pet visits, and input data into our computer systems.
- Team Collaboration: Interact and communicate closely with other staff to ensure client and pet needs are understood and addressed.
- Problem-Solving: Respond promptly to customer relations issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide solutions to clients' needs.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure the facility meets or exceeds expectations with regards to cleanliness and safety.
- Passion for Animals: A passion for animals and animal care, especially dogs and cats, and a willingness to learn animal behavior to ensure their safety.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to take care of customers' needs while following company procedures.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, both written and orally.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and be very detail-oriented.
- Teamwork: Good team work and willingness to assist other departments as necessary.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
- Physical Demands: Physically able to handle dogs of all sizes and to lift up to 60 lbs.
