Health Ministries Clinic is seeking a full-time Bilingual Patient Service Representative to join our team in an integrated primary-care/behavioral health setting. The successful candidate will work closely with patients to ensure the accuracy of their dental appointments, personal information, and billing details.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure efficient use of clinic resources.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to resolve issues and address concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 months experience as a medical receptionist or medical records clerk preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information required.
- Experience with customer service and multi-line phones preferred.
- Computer knowledge and ability to work independently with little direction required.
- Medical terminology/procedural knowledge strongly preferred but not required.
- Bilingual ability in Spanish required.
