Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the General Manager in recruiting, training, mentoring, and overseeing dinner service personnel. Actively participate in restaurant operations, assisting the service team, ensuring cleanliness, and engaging with guests to guarantee an outstanding dining experience.
  • As an Assistant Manager, you are expected to master the restaurant service model and uphold guest satisfaction.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of the dinner menu and multi-course meal execution, ensuring staff adhere to high service standards while acting as a bridge between the dining room and kitchen.
  • Additional responsibilities include preparing daily financial reports, managing tip distributions, scheduling, ordering supplies, overseeing payroll, conducting inventory, and maintaining daily management logs.
  • Oversee all cash handling processes within the restaurant, including register management, safe operations, deposits, and daily closing tasks.
  • Service Locations: Mid Vail, Eagle's Nest, Game Creek, and Wildwood.

Qualifications:

Mandatory:

  • High School diploma.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years in the restaurant industry.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a restaurant setting with a team of 10-15 individuals.
  • 1-2 years of fine dining experience and knowledge of wine and beverage service.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Must obtain valid TIPS certification upon employment (training provided).
  • Must be at least 18 years old and capable of handling alcohol.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Availability to work during holidays as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Conversational Spanish is a plus.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $55,000 - $60,000. This range reflects our reasonable expectations for compensation, which may vary based on several factors.
