Job Title: Energy Efficiency Business Development Manager

Brightcore Energy is a leading provider of end-to-end energy efficiency and clean energy solutions to commercial, industrial, and institutional clients. We are seeking an experienced Energy Efficiency Business Development Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies to increase Brightcore Energy's market reach and opportunity pipeline. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of success in client-facing business development activities, with a focus on clean energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to increase Brightcore Energy's market reach and opportunity pipeline.
  • Qualify, propose, negotiate, and close sales opportunities within the Geothermal, Solar, and Lighting verticals.
  • Partner with the Vice President, Business Development to meet or exceed individual and company sales plan targets for revenue in key applications.
  • Manage the sales process, working across the organization to facilitate education, feasibility studies, pricing, and other tasks required to get a signed contract.
  • Update all client-facing activity in Brightcore CRM to reflect all active opportunities by maturity stage and value.
  • Meet with the Vice President, Business Development on a weekly basis to review pipeline, client activities, and results of prospecting goals for the month.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of work experience in client-facing roles in energy efficiency and renewable energy.
  • Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • A strong desire to learn and contribute to an entrepreneurial team.
  • Driven to focus on meeting personal business growth objectives.
  • Understand key building systems and renewable energy space.
  • Personal and professional interest in furthering a clean energy future.
  • A successful approach to client relationship management.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to master complex selling environments to address multiple influences and identify key client business requirements.
  • Experience and understanding of energy efficiency and sustainability solutions in the commercial, institutional, or industrial markets.
  • Effective client relationship development skills that enable a clear path to key decision makers.
  • Local knowledge that enhances an intentional approach to targeted vertical markets.
  • Strong teamwork skills that enable multiple disciplines across Brightcore to work seamlessly to achieve the desired client outcome.
