This pivotal position is responsible for managing the financial aspects of healthcare facilities, working closely with the Executive Director and the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial planning and operational oversight for the Healthcare Facilities Branch, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop, monitor, and evaluate the financial health of programs managed by the Healthcare Facilities Branch.
  • Ensure quality control in budgeting processes, including the preparation and defense of budget requests and management of allocated funds.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to promote initiatives that fulfill program requirements effectively.
  • Analyze proposed legislation and prepare cost estimates, consolidating information for presentation to relevant authorities.
  • Represent the department during legislative sessions, providing testimony and coordinating budget presentations.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, public administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in senior-level financial management, particularly in large-scale programs.
  • Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
