Position Summary
The selected candidate will oversee the prompt and effective movement, delivery, and setup of machinery for various product training events and other equipment-related activities as assigned. Responsibilities will also include maintaining and ensuring accountability for all logistics equipment (including truck fleet, trailers, tools, etc.), ensuring that all machinery is in optimal condition prior to events, and providing assistance during product training as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, transport, and operate equipment, including performing general maintenance as necessary.
  • Plan, organize, and dispatch all necessary equipment for product training events.
  • Travel to events to unload and arrange equipment in preparation for training sessions.
  • Support the Product Training team with various training activities, including Boot Camps, Attachment Training, and Regional Product Meetings.
  • Operate departmental truck and trailer combinations, loading and transporting equipment as needed (a Commercial Driver's License is required).
  • Enhance product knowledge to improve job performance.
  • Maintain the consignment equipment fleet, trucks, and trailers.
  • Manage daily cleaning and upkeep of the shop environment.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Operate all Bobcat and competitive equipment as required for training, demonstrations, and promotional activities.
  • Assist in preparing equipment for national trade shows and sponsored events.
  • Support product presentations during events.

Qualifications

  • Education: A 2 or 4-year degree in Business, Construction Management, or Diesel Technology is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 0-2 years in a related field.
  • Travel: Required as necessary.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in PC skills.
  • A background in agriculture, construction, and/or mobile equipment is essential.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 30 business days of hire.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for presenting to individuals or groups.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Ability to follow written instructions accurately.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills, particularly with gas and diesel equipment, are a plus.
