Position Title:

Compensation:

Overview:
As a vital member of our culinary team, the Kitchen Steward plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of kitchen workspaces and equipment. This position is essential for ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping at designated intervals to adhere to safety and sanitation standards.
2. Operate large kitchen machinery, including dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
3. Clean work surfaces, including tables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks, as assigned.
4. Segregate and dispose of trash and garbage in designated containers, ensuring proper sanitation practices.
5. Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other food preparation equipment thoroughly.
6. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, following safe lifting protocols.
7. Assist with the setup of banquet tables and front-of-house arrangements as needed.
8. Help with the loading, unloading, and delivery of supplies and products.
9. Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment while adhering to sanitation and safety guidelines.
10. Ensure the careful delivery of hot and cold food items.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
Must be capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 65 lbs.
