Job Overview

The Service Operations Specialist position is essential in delivering exceptional service to our clientele.

This role encompasses conducting field assessments of residences prior to cabinet orders, overseeing cabinet installations in the field, executing minor troubleshooting tasks, and performing quality inspections post-installation.

This position involves working across various regions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough measurements at all sites and verify actual dimensions against plans to ensure order precision and correct installation.

2. Cultivate and sustain vital relationships with clients.

3. Track the progress of construction activities for designated customer sites to uphold accurate field measurements and installation timelines.

4. Collaborate with sales representatives and order specialists if field measurements deviate from the planned specifications.

5. Drive performance by mentoring installers and service technicians as necessary.

6. Communicate effectively with site supervisors regarding measurement outcomes and project completions.

7. Perform minor troubleshooting and address any outstanding issues.

8. Deliver and install components as a follow-up to initial installations.

9. Ensure client satisfaction by conducting quality inspections and preparing punch lists at job sites using Salesforce.

10. Adhere to safety regulations and maintain good housekeeping practices while performing duties.

11. Ensure timely completion of scheduled tasks as outlined in Salesforce.

12. Collaborate closely with Customer Service Associates, Order Specialists, and Sales Representatives on issues requiring additional attention.

13. Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Attributes:


• Proficient in calculating figures and amounts, including profits, losses, percentages, and field measurements.

• Previous experience in the home building products or construction sector is advantageous.

• Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Competence in using computers, office equipment, and various tools, including powered woodworking tools and tablets.

• Ability to read and comprehend English language materials.

• Capability to interpret safety information and manufacturing data.


• Skill in documenting necessary data and providing clear information for team members across departments.

• Aptitude for maintaining accurate financial records for the department.

• Problem-solving abilities in varied situations within industry-standard procedures.

• Capacity to interpret instructions presented in written, oral, diagrammatic, and other formats.

• A contractor's license or prior supervisory experience is preferred.

• Knowledge or experience with cabinetry is a plus.
