Job Summary

The Food Services Specialist is a key member of the Dietary Department team, responsible for preparing, serving, and delivering food to clients and staff. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Essential Functions
  • Prepare and serve food to clients in the cafeteria and deliver meals to ACU clients
  • Properly wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pot/pans, and cooking equipment
  • Perform routine housekeeping duties, including cleaning the kitchen and eating areas
  • Operate dishwashing equipment to ensure proper cleaning of all dishes, utensils, and equipment
  • Wash kitchen floors daily and other areas as designated by the Food Services Manager
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of one year experience in food preparation or a related field
