Position Overview

The Program Manager will be responsible for the design, execution, and successful delivery of grant initiatives aimed at enhancing customer services funded through clean fuels program resources. This role will oversee the support systems involved in program delivery and act as a strategic liaison among key partners, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to ensure effective market implementation. The manager will also identify and cultivate innovative opportunities to expand the Clean Fuels program offerings across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities


• Foster a customer-first mindset and strive for excellence in service delivery.

• Collaborate in the formulation and execution of long-term strategic goals for assigned programs.

• Oversee the development of annual budgets and operational plans to support program objectives.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement among contractors to evaluate program strengths and areas for enhancement.

• Ensure program activities adhere to established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

• Coordinate service delivery across various program activities to enhance organizational efficiency.

• Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of new initiatives and adjustments to existing programs, ensuring alignment with performance metrics and market dynamics.

• Identify energy efficiency opportunities and devise acquisition strategies in accordance with regulatory protocols.

• Contribute to the assessment of resource characteristics and costs for the development of integrated business plans.

• Ensure compliance with tariffs and cost-effectiveness in program modifications.

• Manage data responses related to program activities as required.

• Achieve designated savings targets within budgetary constraints.

• Regularly monitor program performance and engage in evaluations.

• Assess risks associated with program activities and implement appropriate risk management strategies.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Legal, Accounting, Management, Engineering, or a related discipline; or equivalent experience.

• At least five years of professional experience in energy efficiency, load management technologies, project management, or program management.

• Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities to influence policy decisions and mobilize resources effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with team members and customers.

• Proficient in both oral and written communication to articulate objectives and action plans.

• Ability to collaborate across all organizational levels to drive outcomes.

• Skilled in data analysis and summarization using personal computing tools.

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus.
