The Land & Air Defense Systems Strategic Business Unit is seeking a seasoned Procurement Professional/Subcontract Manager. This role offers a collaborative environment where you will oversee the sourcing and procurement of materials and services, manage supplier performance, and navigate the entire purchase order lifecycle for Department of Defense (DoD), Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) clients.

You will cultivate and manage essential supplier relationships to support various program requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and issuance of Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Execution of purchase orders of moderate complexity, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Support and facilitate negotiation strategies, including price, delivery, scope, and terms & conditions.
  • Conduct price and cost analysis to support proposals.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with primary subcontractors.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Operations, Quality, Engineering, Program Management, etc.) to meet objectives.
  • Manage purchase orders to guarantee accurate and timely supplier delivery updates.
Essential Qualifications:

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.

Demonstrated experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field is essential.

Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is mandatory. U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in SAP/PRISM environments.
  • Familiarity with technical requirements of procured hardware and services, including Statement of Work (SOW) evaluations.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS).
  • Experience with various contractual authorization types (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price, etc.).
