Account Coordinator Opportunity at Brown & Brown Insurance

Brown & Brown Insurance is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Account Coordinator to join our Employee Benefits Team in Meridian, ID.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a team of Account Managers in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Review and update plan attributes in the Benefits Account Management System following each renewal
  • Collaborate with carriers to request materials for customers and follow up on previous requests made by Account Managers
  • Process adds, terms, or changes to employee enrollments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Communicate with carriers regarding customer billing discrepancies or simple claims issues
  • Generate personalized forms for each customer, such as Annual Compliance Notices
  • Review carrier contracts for accuracy and ensure compliance
  • Draft employee communications materials for peer review by Account Managers
  • Request information from insurance carriers on behalf of our customers
  • Respond to all emails within 1 business day and maintain confidentiality of processed information
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment and attend in-house educational sessions as requested by leadership

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, OneNote, etc.)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to obtain a Life & Health License
