Account Coordinator Opportunity at Brown & Brown Insurance
Brown & Brown Insurance is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Account Coordinator to join our Employee Benefits Team in Meridian, ID.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support a team of Account Managers in delivering exceptional customer service
- Review and update plan attributes in the Benefits Account Management System following each renewal
- Collaborate with carriers to request materials for customers and follow up on previous requests made by Account Managers
- Process adds, terms, or changes to employee enrollments in a timely and accurate manner
- Communicate with carriers regarding customer billing discrepancies or simple claims issues
- Generate personalized forms for each customer, such as Annual Compliance Notices
- Review carrier contracts for accuracy and ensure compliance
- Draft employee communications materials for peer review by Account Managers
- Request information from insurance carriers on behalf of our customers
- Respond to all emails within 1 business day and maintain confidentiality of processed information
- Work collaboratively in a team environment and attend in-house educational sessions as requested by leadership
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, OneNote, etc.)
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to obtain a Life & Health License
