Job Description

Norco, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Rehab Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for coordinating all rehabilitation equipment set-ups and staff scheduling as directed.

The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between Norco ATPs, Rehabilitation Specialists, and Technicians, and their customers and referral sources to troubleshoot questions and problems and ensure excellent communication is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Team Schedules and Patient Set-Ups: Answer and route rehabilitation staff/patient communications to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Schedule Rehabilitation Staff: Optimize workflows by scheduling rehabilitation staff to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Work with Patients, Physicians, Therapists, and Referral Sources: Collaborate with patients, physicians, therapists, and referral sources to optimize equipment needs for customers.
  • Understand Payer Requirements: Stay informed of industry updates and Medicare changes, particularly those related to rehabilitation, and clearly communicate payer requirements to customers.
  • Perform Insurance Verification: Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary documentation for equipment coverage.
  • Stay Informed of Industry Updates: Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes to ensure excellent service to our customers.
  • Assist with Rehabilitation Sales Support: Provide support for rehabilitation sales efforts within a defined region, as necessary.
  • Assist Customer Service Staff: Coordinate rehabilitation-related discharges to ensure a smooth transition for our customers.
Qualifications:
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous Home Care Experience: Previous experience in home care is preferred.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent public relations and customer service skills, with the ability to work with a diverse group of people in a caring, personable manner.
  • Ability to Learn New Equipment and Technologies: Ability to learn new equipment and technologies quickly.
  • Ability to Build and Maintain Rapport: Ability to build and maintain a good rapport with referral agencies, physician offices, patients, and other stakeholders.
