Role Responsibilities:

This position demands a blend of technical curiosity and business acumen, along with robust program management capabilities.

We seek an individual who can lead, manage, and deliver all facets of large-scale, multi-functional projects and feature sets. You will collaborate with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle, from architecture and design to implementation and validation. The ideal Engineering Program Manager will proactively identify, prioritize, and resolve program challenges.

You will also present new feature proposals, key issues, risks, and significant achievements to senior leadership and work alongside cross-functional teams across Apple to synchronize the roadmap across various business sectors.

Essential Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in project, product, or program management in areas such as cloud services, software development, or operations.
  • Deep comprehension of the software product lifecycle and ability to lead projects from inception to completion using Agile methodologies.
  • Proven capability to collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams, gain consensus, and excel in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment.
  • Technical curiosity coupled with a willingness to engage in and contribute to technical discussions with engineering partners.
  • Experience in driving and delivering critical project features that involve collaboration with multiple teams across Apple.
  • Adept at utilizing data from various sources to derive insights and make informed decisions regarding programs.

Communication Skills:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; must be comfortable engaging with and presenting to executive management.

Leadership:

Strong leadership abilities and capacity to empower team members.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in launching consumer software at a large scale, utilized by millions.
  • Prior experience working in product areas alongside Human Interface / UI / UX teams.

Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base salary is one component of our total compensation package and is determined within a specified range.

This allows for growth as you advance and develop within your role.

The base salary range for this position is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your salary will be influenced by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if they voluntarily participate in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
