Job Title: Device Connectivity Lead Engineer

OSI Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Device Connectivity Lead Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented engineer to lead our device connectivity team. The successful candidate will have experience in product field testing with GNSS/GPS technologies and be proficient in device configuration, log collection, first-level analysis, and report generation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers in device connectivity and GNSS/GPS field testing
  • Conduct field tests, set up devices, configure iOS, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
  • Assign tasks, communicate project requirements and expectations to the team
  • Analyze test results, process logs, and perform post-processing to address any issues identified
  • Travel locally and non-locally on short notice

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience working close with a team of engineers
  • 1+ years of experience in product field testing with GNSS/GPS technologies preferred
  • Experience in device configuration, log collection, first-level analysis, and report generation

Nice to Have:

  • Basic scripting experience (MATLAB/Python/Shell)

What We Offer:

Contract position with a pay rate range of $50-$60/HR (DOE)
