Position Overview
As a Field Engineer II, you will report directly to the Project Manager. Your primary responsibilities will encompass contract management, project scheduling, and reporting, while also providing guidance to Project Management on various project-related matters.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of scheduling documents (P6, MS Project, Excel)
- Draft and manage subcontract agreements
- Monitor daily expenditures and generate trend analysis
- Coordinate and design temporary structures
- Aid in interpreting drawings and specifications for field teams and supervisory staff
- Conduct quantity take-offs
- Support the creation of work plans
- Help compile, process, and verify daily labor reports
- Assist in the formulation of Job Hazard Analyses (JHA's)
- Participate in jobsite safety assessments, toolbox discussions, and safety training sessions
- Order and schedule material deliveries
- Oversee field operations
- Cultivate leadership and management capabilities
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with a degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or Coastal Engineering
- Ability to operate with minimal oversight
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Primavera, and HCSS Heavy Bid preferred
- Strong skills in standard computer software applications
- Capability to work a standard 40-hour work week with additional hours as project demands
- This role requires fluent proficiency in both verbal and written English
