Position Summary

This role will offer management support to both new and existing Compass Group accounts within K-12 and higher education environments. Significant travel, including overnight stays, is a requirement, and candidates should be open to relocation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Standards Development: Establish and assess operational standards and procedures to align with facility policies, ensuring excellence in all operations.
  • Strategic Oversight: Develop work schedules and allocate job responsibilities to ensure optimal service delivery across all areas.
  • Team Development: Recruit, assess, and mentor facility staff, maintaining high standards and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Facility Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of facilities, recommend improvements, and facilitate smooth transitions within the facility.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate activities through regular staff meetings, ensuring effective communication with other departments.
  • Project Coordination: Schedule major projects, ensuring adequate staffing and resources for successful execution.
  • Resource Management: Perform regular inventory checks of supplies and assist the department director with budget oversight.
  • Flexibility: Undertake additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and responsiveness.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: A minimum of four years in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance, with at least one year in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Attributes: A strong work ethic, commitment to quality and customer service, and a determined drive for success.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Administrative Skills: Strong organizational and administrative skills, with proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Education: An Associate's degree is preferred.
