Job Summary

As a key member of our Construction team, the Group Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in driving the growth and direction of a team of Project Managers, Engineers, and Technicians. This position requires a unique blend of leadership and technical skills, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Ensure the successful completion of assigned projects, including control system design and programming, engineering, start-up, commissioning, and close-out.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to team members, including Project Managers, Engineers, and Technicians, to ensure they have the necessary resources and expertise to excel in their roles.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of building mechanical systems, control systems, and troubleshooting techniques, with the ability to design and engineer control system hardware and software programming.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, as well as external partners and clients.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to ensure they are meeting their goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: AA degree in applied technology or undergraduate degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of industry experience, with a strong background in building mechanical systems, control systems, and project management.
  • Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work well within a team, excellent troubleshooting skills, experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits, knowledge of DDC theory and applications, and proficiency in ACAD.
